Shipshewana Flea Market

Flea Market will open May 5th, 2009 (through October 28th, 2009)
Tuesdays & Wednesdays 8am -5pm

EST (with Daylight Savings)

We look forward to seeing you in May! Don't forget to check out the rest of our website for information on lodging at the Farmstead Inn, shopping at the Antique Gallery, as well as Misc. & Antique Auctions. Simply point to the links located at the top of this page.

Each year from the first of May through the end of October, you can find hundreds of vendors selling everything from fresh fruit to handcrafted furniture at the Shipshewana Flea Market. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays the small community of 536 comes alive with traffic lining the streets to see this “do not miss” Hoosier tradition.

The flea market is owned and operated by Keith and Kevin Lambright, who are quick to extend Shipshewana’s warm and sincere country hospitality. “We encourage visitors to take advantage of all our great town has to offer.” Whether you prefer the wide assortment of shops downtown, or an in-depth look at the Amish and Mennonite culture showcased at Menno-Hof Visitors Center just across the road from the Flea Market, "Shipshewana offers a variety that cannot be equaled anywhere."

The atmosphere surrounding the Flea Market is one of a kind. It is not hard to find a friendly face on these streets, nor is it difficult to keep oneself busy with the numerous activities Shipshewana has to offer.

“Shop ‘til you drop” is more than just a saying in Shipshewana! If hunting for treasures through the 1,000 plus Flea Market vendors is not enough to make you drop, you can walk across the street to the Trading Place Antique Gallery, or walk the short distance to the wide variety of shops downtown.

Don't leave the area without experiencing home-style Amish cooking at the "auction restaurant" on the Flea Market grounds, or at other fine eateries in the area.

It's a fun trip, whether you are from out of state or just down the road apiece. We hope to see you often!
