Dear Prospective Vendor:
Thank you for your inquiry about the Shipshewana Auction Flea Market. The Flea Market season begins the first Tuesday and Wednesday in May and runs each week through the last Tuesday and Wednesday of October. Prior to May and after October the Flea Market will be open if weather permits. In addition we have extended Market days during Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day weeks. Dates vary from year to year so be sure to refer the calendar on the vendor application or call the office at 260/768-4129.
The Flea Market is open to the public from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Tuesday and Wednesday. Vendors may set up on Monday from 10 AM to 10 PM, or on Tuesday morning beginning at 6 AM. All vendors must have their space tickets at entry in order to set up.
Permanent spaces are available for May through October and are assigned during the off-season unless available during season. The rates for permanent spaces vary from $35.00 to $43.00 per week depending on location. To become a permanent vendor a $90.00 deposit per space is required, which will be credited to your first month’s rent when you have been allotted a space. Once allotted space, rental fees are due on a monthly basis.
No Show and cancellation spaces are also available each week. Spaces that are not occupied by 8:00 AM on Tuesday are rented as a no show space. To be put on our waiting list for a no show space, you must pay $50.00 in advance per space per week, and must be present at the Flea Market Office by 8:00 AM each Tuesday for the week(s) you requested. Space is available on a first come first serve basis, so there is no guarantee that there will be an available space for you. We refund weekly if you do not receive a space.
If you would like to be put on the waiting list or are interested in becoming a permanent vendor, please fill out the application on the back side and send it with your deposit/payment and we will return a receipt to you.
